I cannot imagine a better location to enter into Celtic spirituality. The island itself was a sacred member of our Circle of Belonging. The people I met in town also carried the spirit and practice of this spirituality. Spirit moving through the Circle brought an experience that I cannot capture in words. Held in Spirit, the Circle, Place, Meditations and Meals were a sacred experience for which I am grateful. One of the greatest was the gift of seeing and being seen. I bring Achill Island home with me. Truly. And affirmation of my connection with and reverence for creation. Therefore, I enter more fully into my kinship with it. Thank you.

Achill most definitely felt like a place of magic and a holy place, a feeling I've had on other islands but even more so on Achill. The sights, smells, sounds, in such an amazingly beautiful place made it feel holy and close to God for me. The flow and format worked very well for me, a good balance of quiet personal time and group time. Thanks for excellent food as promised, organic, healthy, delicious, and plenty of it. Family style was great, many thanks.

The Yoga with Mary was a fantastic way to start the morning. The Boley house was great location and spacious.

Incredible surroundings, appreciate the lack of commercial development, walkability and access to various sites; memorable, literally imprinted. Belonging, connection, awareness, memories, are the things I bring home with me. I loved family dinners, so special, a key aspect for bonding. I was very appreciative of every meal, I thought they were well rounded and delicious.

I felt such joy in the beauty and simplicity of the island, and the honor the land is shown here. I blessed my cross for the name of my ancestors…what peace the island brought me. I want to return. Our mediations were clear and immediate. Drew tears and laughter in the strongest sense. Each adventure had its own wonderful moment, memory and healing. Our circles were very powerful. The gift was one of trust and kinship. My reawakening to the possibilities of what direction my life will take if I trust my heart and soul.

So remote and off the beaten path. The ocean so close you can hear the stones rattling in the waves in the quiet of night, magical. The old-world charm of small roads, sheep wandering freely in open spaces, created the groundwork for deep spiritual work. The content was wonderful; my wild soul was completely captivated by this island. So many gifts have come home with me. New friends, old friendships solidified. A once in a lifetime adventure. Lots of love, tears, tenderness and smiles. The Boley house was excellent, five stars.
